So, after playing the Sims 2 for untold hours this afternoon I got bored and ended up planning my courses for next year. Chances are I won't be able to get into all of the classes I want, but at the moment my schedule is really nice. Mostly. Tuesdays and Thurdays kinda suck in the fall, but we'll see. So, if I don't get into Fiction Writing I or Intro to Creative Writing (both of which have small class sizes and are pretty competitive) I will be taking:
Latin 201 (joy)
Anthropology 311
Medieval History 319
Gay Literature 389
Greek and Roman Studies 345
Medieval History 323
Logic 279 (ugh)
English Fantasy 395 (yay!)
Medieval History 321
Greek and Roman Studies 335
Woo! I get to take history this year. Five this year, as opposed to the two I had last year, which didn't include medieval history. Although if I get into fiction writing I'll be giving up the two English courses to make room. And if don't get into fiction writing but I do get into the intro writing course I'll be saying bye-bye to gay lit. Which will probably be really depressing anyway.
Here's a question: why do all Greek and Roman Studies courses take place in the late afternoon/early evening? It's not fair! I don't like being at school that late. Last year my GRST course was at 4:00-5:00, this year they're both at 3:30-4:45. Sigh. Must be a department tradition or something.
And sadly I couldn't take Magic, Science and Religion in the middle ages. Which I was really, REALLY looking forward to, but it doesn't fit in my schedule. Sigh. Next year.
So despite spending 3+ hours playing the Sims I was pretty productive. Now I just have to go write something worthwhile and life will be good. Hopefully.
