OMG Kingfisher Days!

I just finished reading it. It's like... it's like my memories! My dad calls to the loons. Daddy-long-legs crawled around on my window sills. I found secret paths and saw faeries. My spine didn't stop shivering the whole time I was reading it. I could see everything that was described, feel everything that was felt. I've been there, done that and I want to go back. I'm hoping to make it to the cottage this summer.
I'm sooooo glad I get to meet the author! I doubt she'll care about listening to me blather on about my cottage, but I'm finding myself really wanting to.
It was like listening to Lullaby for a Stormy Night by Vienna Teng. It was like being in Kenora again, it was like being a child again.
On a completely different note, go lookit this
But OH MY GOD that book! That book!
