I was looking through the news paper today and realized there are a LOT of movies coming out that I want to see and not because they look like they'd be entertaining, but because they look good. It's been a while since I saw a good movie, but there are so many coming out that have potential. Why now? you ask. Probably because I'm finally paying attention to indi films, which seem to have a lot more to them than mainstream one. So! On to the list:
Mrs. Henderson Presents
Capote
Cassonova
Tristan and Isolde
And some movies that aren't out yet (that are mainstream, but oh well)
Underworld
The Libertine
Pirates of the Carribean
I really, really need to get a job. I can't afford to see all these movies! Even if most of them are at the Globe or Plaza where admission is only $6. Plus I wanna see Brokeback again because I don't think it'd be as good on a small screen. All those mountains and big empty landscapes won't be nearly as effective when they're little. Sigh.
Oh, and I can hardly talk, my throat is so sore. I used to just sound like I swallowed a walrus, which though unpleasant, wasn't too bad. Now I have a bunch of frogs spawning and getting fat in my vocal cords. Sigh.
