This is the forth time today I've updated. Sorry if I'm spamming your f'list, but apparently I have nothing better to do then rant and rave on my journal and read about Caligula. Did you know that name means "little boots"?

So I just watched "The Perfect Man" which wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. The writing was good, the characters were fairly good. The plot itself had no relationship to reality, but I can deal with that. There was the token effeminat gay guy (who was the best character in the entire movie. I love that guy) and the 'perfect man' (aka Ben) and the artistic love interest for Duff's character. The two guys were actually basically the same character, just in different generations. I'd take either, I think.

But the movie left me wondering "Where is he?!"

Oh, and there was this whole thing where Duff got to go to a school dance, and I was all like "Yay! I get to go to a dance tommorrow!" And I remembered how I used to loath and despise dances. I avoided them like the plague. Back in jr. high Janine and I, along with some of our other friends, would sit in the hall and play cards rather than dance. Oh, how we've changed.

Are there any entries in here that don't mention swing dancing? Not counting the PD (pre-dance) days? Y'know, one of the driving reasons behind joining swing was to meet people. And by people I mean guys. Yeah, I thought learning how to do arials and stuff looked cool, but I probably never will just because they're dangerous and stuff. Plus the only people I've ever seen do arials were a group of mormons who randomly showed up one day, so in order to learn it I'd probably have to learn from them. Now, I like mormons as much as the next person, but I don't particulairly want to spend that much time with them.

In conclusion I'm feeling lonely. Again. But happy about dancing. Plus I have Mr. and Mrs. Smith to watch later. And chocolat and gummy worms.

Life could definitely be a lot worse.
