So. Did the thanksgiving thing. Joy. There are many reasons why I don't like this "holiday" but the basic premis: that of being thankful for stuff, is okay by me. So I'm gonna write up a list:

- My family (read: mom, dad, bro, girlfriend) and friends-- too many reasons to list.
- That I can get some cool stuff from time to time
- That I live in a country where being something other than a straight, conformist, Christian/Muslim/whatever is ok.
- That I haven't managed to break my computer yet
- There are always lots of cool books around my house
- my brother is willing to drive me around
- I found and joined the swing dance club
- my skate bag fits in my locker
- I live in a time and place where ice cream and chocolat are readily available
- there are some seriously comfy couches in the Loft at school
- having a job that gives me the hours and pay that I want.
- indoor plumbing and electricity
- toothpaste
- vegitarian sushi
- Tim Hortons
- a Latin class that's actually fun
- that shiny and sparkly things exist, and that I have a couple
- I can knit
- there are massage therapists to fix me after I've done too much knitting
- David Bowie
- Joss Whedon
- my genetics & natural flexibility
- having a mom that can sew
- having a girlfriend that can sing
- having friends that can't
- random indie movies
- cookies
- peanut butter
- peacocks and giraffes
- phones
- the GRST secretary
- rainbows

And I gotta go to bed, so that's it for now.
