I lose

So skating was cancelled. No biggie. I just go get changed and head home. Forgetting my skate bag.
Now, as a figure skating coach I need my skate bag because it has my skates in it. I don't want to think about the shit I'd be in if I showed up to work with no skates. Cue me jumping off the bus and trying to remember where, exactly, I left my bag. Did I remember to put it back in my locker? Did I leave it in the locker room? At the bus stop?
Luckily when I'm not thinking I revert to habit, so my bag was, in fact, in Carolyn's locker. But it took me two hours to get home, rather than the usual twenty minutes.
On the bright side I ended up stopping at the library to pick up a hold.
And I got my order from Amazon in the mail today. Shhh, very secret presenty type stuff. But it's awesome. So, so awesome. I kind of want to keep it now, so you all had better come to midwinter, cuz if you don't show then maybe I will keep it.
Anyway, I should be doing work. And eating food.

I feel happy today. Probably won't last long since school and homework and stuff that I'm procrasinating, but right at this very moment I am swell.

Work was wierd. I mean, the actual work part was normal. But then Barb (the one I don't like) apologized for talking about how drug addicts are creepy because she thought she'd offended me. WTF? Guess she figured out who complained about her. But seeing as she is not, to my knowledge, colour blind or rediculously stupid that's not really surprising. Anyway, then she said I was a really good teacher. Hmmm.

Oh! And Innocent Blood was on TV, although I don't think it was the same movie I was hoping it was. But there was a French vampire and a lot of gansters. So naturally it was awesome.

Anyway, I'm really sleepy now so I'm going to bed. Tomorrow morning I'll try to slog through the rest of Suetonius's Julius Caesar, maybe get a start on Plutarch before I go to fabricland for some thingies and ribbon and possibly to hassal Carolyn, who is working there now and I believe tomorrow is her first day. Then I shall continue north to see my darling Janine (castles don't have phones!)
