Pin curls!

So yesterday I had nothing much to do, what with it being my day off and all, so I decided to do my hair in pin curls. Now, from what I understand they're suppose to make your hair all nice and wavy. But when I took them out this morning they made a whole ton of little, tightly curled ringlets! Awesomeness! My waist length hair now barely brushes my shoulders, that's how curly it is. I guess I kind of failed at pin curls then, but this is soooooo much cooler! It's too bad I can't take a picture, but I think I may be doing this more often in the future. It took me an hour to put it all in, but I'm sure with practice it will take less time.
I really hope they won't get too squished by my helmet. I'm thinking I should put a scarf over them, but I don't particulairly want to sweat all over my pretty Thai silk scarf, so I guess I'll sacrifice the curls. I wonder how long they'll stay in? Hopefully for a couple of days at least.
I can now find out what it's like to have short hair! W00t! *is very excited*

So. The bike got stolen. Right out of the driveway. My aunt doesn't blame me- she's the one who said it was ok for me to leave it in the driveway. Anyway, I'm busing it for now. She may lend me another bike or I might get my roller blades from home and start using those. Whatever. But I'm taking the bus which SUCKS ASS.
But yay! Pirates tomorrow! Even if I do have to take the bus.
And some person who's distantly related to me is staying at my aunt's as well. So that's interesting.
I'm soooo sleepy.
It's sooooo hot out.
Random guest: wow, it's warm out today.
Me: *melting in a puddle* yeah, it is.
Random guest: Are you hot?
Me: Yeah. I am. DUH! I'm wearing a FULL LENGTH skirt and a petticoat, you dumbass!
Sigh. *slinks into the fridge*
