You know who sucks? Work does. Yesterday they were all like 'yeah, sure, if you can't find someone to fill in for you it'll be OK, we'll handle it.' and today they're like 'no, sorry. We told you that you could have Sunday off, but you can't. unless someone's died. because your friends and boy(ha!)friend aren't important.' And me being me turned on the waterworks immediately. Gee. I'm so subtle. Now I'll be known as "the girl who throws a fit when things don't go her way." Has a Native American sound to it, I think. I hate being that girl. I really do. And he just kept talking . He kept going on and on about being short staffed especially on weekends, especially ESPECIALLY on lunch relief. And I just wanted to leave, except I was crying and I didn't particulairly want anyone else to see that. But God, you think I don't know about the staffing problems? You think I don't know how much work the lead hands have to do? Give me some credit, here. I may be a cry baby but I'm not completely stupid. I don't walk around with blinkers on and my fingers stuffed in my ears. So I don't know what's gonna happen this weekends. Kinky Boots is looking unlikely, unless Janine and I boot it down to Westhills after I'm done tomorrow, but the till will probably be a bitch again and it takes a freaking hour to get there, so we'll probably miss the last showing of the night. Who knows. Maybe the sleepover can still go ahead. I won't have to get up until ten thirty in order to be there on time, but that would also mean Janine'd have to leave in the morning cuz I doubt she'd want to hang around here after I leave. I don't know. I'll call her once I've calmed down and no longer resemble a tomato with hair. I'm soooo glad I didn't run into anyone on my way to my room. But who knows, maybe they'd've believed me if I'd told them it was allergies? No one knows me super well, so I might be able to get away with rediculous lies like that. who knows. I should go ride Poly.
