It's official: I'm registered for (part of) the swingdance weekend workshop! All day Saturday and one class Sunday, all for $61. Thank you, once again, uncle Ralph. I get to learn balboa. And how to do Charlston by myself.

So much for having money next year for books and stuff. Oh well, who needs books anyway?

In other news, still don't have my new power cord. Decided to go home during my break today to work on my essay. So far I'm not sure if it's actually an essay or me rambling on about why stories are good. But oh well. Still have an hour and a half before I have to go back to school. I'm sure I can make a point by then.

Also: McCain over fries suck. Don't even bother.

Soooo

According to the yellow pages most of the fine institutions listed under "Adult stores" are near my house, or on McCloud trail, which isn't very far away from my house.

I wonder why that is?

Anyway, so far I've got four places to go on the Quest for the Crop, and here they are in order:
Pleasure Dome- across the street from my house.
Transcanada Adult Store- a few blocks away from my house
B & D emporium- on 17th ave. I haven't been there, but I heard they have wonderful leather stuff (boots, corsets ect.)
Love Stop- near SAIT. It's also by a decent sushi place so I thought we could stop there for lunch.

Wheee! Although we probably won't get around to doing this for a few weeks, since this weekend is Sade's bday and next weekend is filled with workshop goodness.

I also think I know what I'm wearing for the cross-dressing movie thing this weekend. I won't by any means look like a man, but I also won't look nearly as feminine as usual. Hopefully. But unless Jo lends me some clothes this is the best I can do. Plus it'll work for The Libertine.

Anyway, class is going to start soon so I should probably go doodle pay lots of attention and take extensive notes.

That's right folks. I actually BOUGHT PANTS! And while looking for pants I discovered a rather strange anomoly:
At Chloe a size eight is big enough to camp in.
At Sears a size six fit perfectly.
WTF?
Anyway, now I have a shiny new pair of pinstriped pants (I blame the What Not To Wear people- they always tell people to buy pinstripes and I think they brain washed me) that has a split seam in the crotch. I think I should be able to fix it, and it got me 15% off so I only paid $18 for them. Plus I can return them. So no worries.
My guy outfit will not make me look like a guy. I *might* get artfully androgynous if I'm lucky, but definitely not guy.
