After Christmas
Dec. 29th, 2005 02:39 pmToday I went for a bike ride and brought along the cereal box camera so I could try my hand at artisitic photography. Unfortunately I couldn't get the film out of the camera without exposing it, so I've probably lost all my pictures.
Anyway, I had a nice time, just biking around my neighborhood; rediscovering forgotten playgrounds and seeing how they changed and how they stayed the same. Most of them have become plastic and metal monstrosities without swings and monkey bars are are hard to climb on top of. Or, in other words, safe.
I did find a couple of swing sets that are still in tact and took pictures. Because pictures of empty swing sets always look nice.
By the time I got home, though, I was feeling a little chilly. It was plus five and there was hardly any snow, but it was cloudy. So much for living in the Great White North. I haven't seen much white at all so far this winter.
In other news Underworld: Evolution doesn't come out until January 20th. Which is a Thursday. Oh well, maybe I can make opening night anyway and just be tired for/skip class on the Friday. I am looking forward to this so much! Unfortunately I don't have a costume. I do have a kick ass leather duster and knee high black lace up boots, but since I wear those all the time anyway they're hardly a costume. I think I'll dye my hair dark purple again for the movie.
