Why does everyone think midwinter=orgy?

Me: Mom, can my friends come over for midwinter?

Mom: Are you going to dance around fires?

Me: That's midsummer.

Mom: Are you going to have a naked orgy?

Me: That's Beltain.

Which started a conversation about whether or not it was possible to have an orgy while clothed. Welcome to my family. Oh, and when I told Sade she would probably be able to come she asked me if our celebrations included orgies.

No, no they don't. But I'm starting to think they should. Except for the fact it would be incredibly awkward and probably not as fun as it sounds since there'll be no male-creatures in attendance.

Oh well, who doesn't like having a flooded flist? Anyway, I saw this on someone's journal and it sounds like fun. Then again I've been sitting around in my bathrobe all day procrasinating studying for my religion final, so at the moment a dull spork would be fun for me.
