So I feel pretty good about my GRST exam. I even brought Poe with me for goodl uck (Poe being an action figure, not Edgar the Laptop). But the exam is about the only thing I feel good about at the moment because I still have a cold. Blech. And it's the kind where there aren't really a lot of visible symptoms. I just feel like poo. And I hope my throat feels better by Friday because I have ~~brats~~ lovely young children to teach, which will be difficult because I have no voice. And it's not like I can call in sick because a) If I can't talk I can't exactly call and b) my boss is a bitch and doesn't give days off, even if your sick, if she can't find someone to replace you. That is the first reason why I want to quit. There are many, many others. When the time comes that I actually do quit/get fired I may even write down all these reasons and give them to my boss. We shall see. Anyway. I think it's time I updated my profile and got a new lay out. but I'm lazy. If anyone knows of pretty layouts that they think I'd like give me a shout.
ANTM tonight. Will watch. But the post-show analysis will have to take place online because my throat hurts.

I discovered one of your shows, Sugar Rush, because I saw a clip that someone had uploaded onto their blog and I loved it immediately. Since the show doesn't air in Canada I looked for other ways to watch it and found episodes on various video sharing sites. Having watched and greatly enjoyed both seasons I wish to purchase the DVDs, but when I tried I found that they are formatted so that they won't play in a North American DVD player. I'm extremely disappointed and confused. I want to give you my money, but you won't let me. There's no point in buying the DVDs if I can't watch them, and I'm not about to buy a European DVD player. What does this leave me? I want to buy the DVDs and watch the show legitimately, but I am unable to since you don't market them for North American consumers; and I can assure you I'm not the only one on this side of the ocean that enjoys the show. This leaves me with few options: I can either pirate the show or stop watching it all together, and niether or appealing. I find this extremely unfair and short sighted on your part to alienate such a large potential audience.
